Mr. Bach Takes His Hat Off
Jointly with the Department of Music, University of Alberta, we are delighted
to welcome Linda Perillo, soprano, Walter Reiter, baroque violin and section
leader of the English Concert (directed by Trevor Pinnock), Doreen Oke,
harpsichord, and Ronda Metszies, baroque cello, in a special baroque recital
as part of the Department of Music's A Passion for Bach fall festival.
Music by Bach, his contemporaries and predecessors.

The wonderful Canadian viola da gamba duo, Les Voix Humaines, is joined by rising countertenor superstar Dan Taylor in a vocal and intrumental extravaganza entitled The Passion of Musicke featuring works by Dowland and Simpson, and Tobias Hume's complete Poetical Musicke.
